I made myself a new outfit.. I've been dreaming of this one since May...

The jalie Tania blazer, but I cropped it. The sophie hines axis tank and the French navy now xanele shorts!

I literally could not be happier with how this look came together.

I have made SEVEN of these dolls! The pattern is by  Ric Rac Patterns  and has so many fun options I really couldn't make just one...

I have also started an Etsy and have them listed there! (Because I do not actually NEEEED 7 pincushion/desk dolls)

for now, enjoy these fun pics! Most of them I used Jennifer Paganelli Fabrics for the base. and they all have Kona cotton faces.

Before we get to all the different ideas I had to style these, let's talk about the pants!

These are Jalie's Simone wide leg pants (and shorts are a pattern option). For my proportions, my waist is a little higher up, so, I added an inch and a half to the top of the pants so they would sit high waist on myself at my natural waist and I took several inches off the bottom because my legs are NOT long lol.

Have you seen this pattern yet?  I saw the back detail and new I HAD to try it!

The pattern has 2 views - one with a gathered back detail and ruffled bottom and a plain version with no ruffles or gathers. I feel like it's probably evident which version I chose to sew lol.

I did add in pockets - which were not in the pattern, but what is the point on sewing my own clothes if I can't have pockets in everything? right??! The pockets are of course a very simple thing to add in all on your own.

The Chalk and Notch Fringe dress! I LOVE this pattern. The finishing details on that neckline are perfection! I chose to do longer waist ties so I could go around the back and tie in front - because I just like that look, and I can still chose to tie in the back for a looser fit day.

The pattern has this gorgeous curved hemline that I adore for my spring and summer look.

One Thimble Issue 27 is releasing in 6 more days!!!

One of the patterns in there is Of Mice and Meese! (my own pattern!!!) I am soooooo excited to have a pattern in One Thimble magazine and be able to share it with the world!

A cute and simple small toy pattern! With little darts on it's front and back it has a cute little huggable belly and both the mouse and the moose have a tail! This is a beginner rated pattern that I designed with the intention of a quick sew.

Pattern Emporium is releasing a new pattern - a comfy cozy lounge dress! *affiliate link*

The testers have made this dress in so many different fabrics - it works in anything it seems!

I made mine is a woolish sweater knit - I picked up this fabric in the bargain bin but it has a great drape to it! I made the hi-lo shirt tail hemline and pockets with a hood

For styling it is casual wear going out with a cute pair of runners.

DETAILS:

Easy & relaxed fit. Batwing sleeve.

Meet the LLK Arica sweater!

I made the cropped version so I could pair it with my high waisted skirts and my summer dresses for a autumned up version of summer - and I ADORE the look I call the urban farmer look. lol.

I LOVE the fit and comfort factor of the LLK Laramie top I made a few weeks back. So I decided to try it as a  maxi length dress like one I saw online and though well that looks comfortable!

This fabric is a super lightweight woven that I bought about 4yrs ago at a local Fabricland with the intent on making a maxi length dress - I just could never decide on a pattern! I feel like a maxi Laramie really suits the fabric well though.

This is the new Little Lizard King GIRLS sinclair pattern! It has sizes 12m to 14yrs included

I had a lot of fun sewing this up - it was a quick and easy sew. With fixed straps and since it is designed for knit fabric no closures needed.
